Before you begin

• Smart TV with Android TV / Google TV (recommended)

Setup steps

1. 1

   Check your TV platform

   Android TV and Google TV models (Sony, Philips, Hisense, TCL, and others) install the player directly from the Play Store.

   Install from the Play Store

   Open the Play Store on your TV and install our recommended player app — the same steps as Android TV.

   Sign in

   Open the app and enter the server/device name, username, and password from your welcome email.

   For other TV brands

   Samsung, LG, and other non-Android TVs use platform-specific stores. Install an available supported player there, or use a compatible Fire TV or Google TV device.

Helpful tips

• A small streaming stick is often more reliable than an aging smart TV's built-in apps.
• Check your TV for software updates to improve app compatibility.
• Ethernet is available on many smart TVs and improves streaming stability.
